Red Travertine Blocks for Flooring and Wall
Red Travertine Blocks can be processed into slabs, tiles, wall claddings and paving stones. Suitable for interior feature walls, flooring, exterior facades and landscape decoration, widely applied in villas, hotels and commercial architectural projects.
Product description
Red Travertine Blocks are among the stone industry's most vibrant and distinctive raw material exports — a premium porous sedimentary stone precipitated from mineral-rich thermal springs over geological epochs. Its hallmark is a rich, warm terracotta to crimson-red background, layered with dramatic parallel linear striations, coral-pink undertones, and warm cream veins in vein-cut processing, or a swirling, cloud-like floral texture when cross-cut. Formed through calcium carbonate deposition in mineral-rich geothermal waters, Red Travertine is celebrated for its natural linear porosity, thermal insulation properties, and remarkable structural character. Its bold chromatic intensity, excellent block soundness, and warm Mediterranean elegance make these raw quarry blocks the material of choice for luxury architectural facades, feature wall cladding, decorative interior columns, and high-end outdoor landscape design worldwide.

Processing & Machinery Assessment
GANGSAW & DISK SAW SUITABILITY
This block has been assessed as exceptionally well-suited for modern gangsaw equipment, diamond multi-wire saws, and large-diameter circular disk saws. Standard block dimensions of L-270 cm × B-150 cm × H-140 cm offer an optimal geometric volume for efficient mounting and high-yield slab production. Red Travertine's predictable linear pore structure and uniform mineral hardness allow for smooth, low-vibration sawing with minimal blade drag, making it ideal for both vein-cut (parallel to bedding planes) and cross-cut (perpendicular to bedding planes) processing.
- Recommended Processing: Gangsaw or multi-wire saw slabbing (1.8 cm, 2 cm & 3 cm), followed by surface pore filling (transparent or color-matched epoxy/mastic resin), surface calibration, and high-gloss polishing or velvety honing
- Expected Slab Yield: Approximately 70–80 slabs per block (based on 1.8 cm slab thickness) or 50–60 slabs per block (based on 2.5 cm thickness)
- Finish/Polish Result: Luminous, mirror-polished finish when resin-filled, or a rich, tactile rustic-brushed texture that highlights its natural geological voids
