Black Zimbabwe Granite Wall Tiles for Floor and Wall
Black Zimbabwe Granite Wall Tiles are natural granite tiles selected from Zimbabwe black granite quarry areas. The material shows rich black and blue-charcoal base with tight fine silver-grey crystalline speckles and controlled dark mineral clouding and fine grey speckles that remain subtle on vertical wall installations. With density around 2.70 - 2.93 g/cm3, water absorption < 0.25% and compressive strength 175 - 250 MPa, it is suitable for interior wall cladding, reception backgrounds.
Product description
Black Zimbabwe Granite Wall Tiles are natural granite tiles developed for projects that need a dark, durable and visually stable stone surface. The selected material is associated with Zimbabwe black granite quarry areas; selected tile blocks are known for dense structure, even dark color and good polishing performance. It presents rich black and blue-charcoal base with tight fine silver-grey crystalline speckles, making the tile suitable for architectural work where the first impression must match a true black granite appearance rather than an artificial printed surface.
The stone body has dense fine-to-medium grained African black granite texture with compact crystalline interlock and low porosity. Its visible layout is defined by controlled dark mineral clouding and fine grey speckles that remain subtle on vertical wall installations. This combination gives each tile a recognizable material identity while still allowing designers to arrange large floor and wall areas with controlled visual continuity.
Because granite is formed through slow crystallization and geological compression, Black Zimbabwe Granite Wall Tiles provide reliable hardness, compression resistance and long-term dimensional stability. They are recommended for interior wall cladding, reception backgrounds, facade accents, bathroom wall panels and coordinated floor-wall projects. Sealing is advised for wet zones, food areas and exterior environments to improve stain resistance and simplify maintenance.
Category: Natural Granite Tiles
Color: rich black and blue-charcoal base with tight fine silver-grey crystalline speckles; each batch should be checked by dry layout before installation because natural black granite may show slight mineral and tone differences.
Surface Finish Available: Honed / Polished / Brushed / Tumbled / Sandblasted / Bush-hammered / Flamed / Leathered
Product Form: Natural Granite Tiles
Texture: dense fine-to-medium grained African black granite texture with compact crystalline interlock and low porosity. honed or leathered finishes soften reflection on walls, while polished finish produces strong depth for feature panels.
Density: 2.70 - 2.93 g/cm3 (stable compactness for long-term tile service)
Water Absorption: < 0.25% (sealing treatment recommended according to finish and installation area)
Compressive Strength: 175 - 250 MPa (suitable for normal architectural tile applications)
Abrasion Resistance: stable durability for wall cladding and matching floor tile applications
GANGSAW SUITABILITY
Black Zimbabwe Granite Wall Tiles raw blocks are compatible with standard gangsaw processing equipment for slab and tile cutting. The stone features stable internal crystalline structure and practical finished-product yield. Controlled dark mineral clouding and fine grey speckles that remain subtle on vertical wall installations help the finished tiles retain a recognizable natural appearance after calibration, edge trimming and surface finishing.
Recommended Processing: Gangsaw slabs (1.8 cm & 2 cm), followed by calibration, edge trimming and honed / polished / brushed / tumbled / flamed surface treatment
Expected Slab Yield: Approximately 76-86 slabs per block (based on 1.8 cm thickness)
Polish Result: honed or leathered finishes soften reflection on walls, while polished finish produces strong depth for feature panels The final surface should be inspected under project lighting to confirm tone, mineral visibility and batch consistency.
